The brief
Replace a collapsed boundary on three sides of a family garden before summer, without disturbing a mature border.
Challenges
Heavy clay, roots from neighbouring conifers and two leaning sections shared with separate neighbours.
Solution
We hand-dug around root zones, set concrete posts to 750mm and stepped the gravel boards to follow the fall of the lawn.
